Rajinikanth is said to be playing an aged don and powerful political personality in Ranjith’s new film which will go on floors by August.
The latest information from the camp is that the film’s producer Kalaipuli S Thanu insisted to have AR Rahman on board for the film but Rajini has strictly told him that Ranjith is having a perfect team why to disturb him now? And he preferred Santhosh Narayanan over the academy award winning music composer, AR Rahman.
Rajinikanth is also said to be attending the rehearsal conducted by Ranjith and preparing himself for the new role.
Sources say that the film will releasing on Pongal 2016.
According to reliable sources in the industry, the official announcement of Endhiran2 will be made in January, 2016. The film’s pre-production work is already going on in full swing and it’s been confirmed by several sources from the unit.
“Rajinikanth has given 150 days of call sheet to Shankar. Vikram, who was initially apprehensive to play the villain role, has been convinced by Shankar to enact the role”, says a source.
Nirav Shah is likely to handle cinematography. AR Rahman will compose music for the film. National award winning special effects designer Srinivas Mohan is also part of the technical team.
Suriya and Vijay are great friends, also they are currently two superstars after the great Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan.
Now both of them are acting in films which almost have same concept. Yes, both Puli and 24 are said to be based on science fiction concept, time travel.
In Puli, Vijay is buzzed to be playing a character like Indiana Jones who uses the time travel machine to get into Sridevi’s kingdom.
Similarly in ’24’, Suriya is said to be using a watch as a time travel machine to rectify the mistakes he has done in the past.
Both Vijay and Suriya fans are already excited in knowing that their favorite actors will be seen in a fantasy film.
Lingusamy is likely to produce Vikram’s next film with Vijay Milton. Impressed by the hard work and dedication of Vijay Milton, Vikram is said to have already agreed to do another film with him during the shooting of 10 Enradhukulla which is currently under post-production.
Vijay Milton rose to fame with the success of Goli Soda which earned widespread critical and commercial acclaim. It was Lingusamy’s Thirupathi Brothers who acquired the film when there were no takers for the film.
Sources say Lingusamy had already requested Vijay Milton to do a film for his production house with a leading hero. Vikram is currently busy with Marma Manidhan with director Anand Shankar.
There is a buzz that Vijay’s 59th film which is to be directed by Atlee is the remake of VijayaKanth’s yesteryear blockbuster Chatriyan.
Now sources have confirmed that the film is not the remake of Chatriyan but there might be some resemblance which is inevitable.
The shooting of the film will commence from today at Chennai and the team is really excited about the project as the film involved huge budget and stellar star cast.
Vijay 59 has Samantha and Amy Jackson as the two heroines, the film will also seePrabhu, Raadhika and director Mahendran in important roles.
Vijay is being produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu.
